Level 3 First Aid at Work Re-Qualification16th February 2016
This 2-day Re-Qualification First Aid at Work course is designed for those who currently hold the Level 3 qualification already but are due to expire or have recently expired. To help ensure that employers remain within Health & Safety law to provide a safe and healthy environment to work in. So if your assessment of first aid highlights the need for re-qualified first aiders, then this level 3 Re-Qualification is deal.
This comprehensive 2-day course covers a wide range of first aid situations, enabling all participants to deal with first aid situations that may arise with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course.
During the 2-day course participants will cover the following;
- Legalities, responsibilities and reporting
- Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
- Fractures and spinal injuries
- Control of bleeding
- Heart attacks
- Head injuries
- Chest injuries
- Assessment of the situation
- Shock (including Anaphylaxis)
- Eye injuries
- Sprains and strains
