The Digital Marketing Hub is a purpose-built learning space built by CIMPSA and supported by Sport England and The National Lottery. The fund is powered by a £450,000 award from Sport England and is designed to offer a range of actors within the sport, fitness and activities sector the opportunity to develop their digital marketing skills for free.
The programme combines an array of bite-sized modules, partner-led courses, keynote webinar series, a place for peer networking, and a range of resources including blogs and guides for individuals and businesses to delve into. With COVID-19 impacting the sector, it became clear that there was a real need in the sector to focus on training such as social media, content marketing, website management and SEO.
The Digital Marketing Hub is a part of Sport England’s 10-year strategy called Uniting the Movement. The project is designed to bring together the sector in recovery and impact to improve the digital capabilities and audience reach in the industry. Just last month, the Hub has benefitted from webinars hosted by TV presenter and host Jake Humphrey of The High Performance Podcast and Joe Wicks, one of TV’s most popular presenters.
Anyone who signs up whether they are sole traders, small and medium-sized businesses, volunteers, community groups, or charities in our sector is given the opportunity to develop their digital marketing skills for free.
