FST partners with the Warren Youth Project to support sports apprenticeships

First Step Training have teamed up with the Warren Youth Project, to work together on helping young people maximise their employability skills and increase opportunities for sports apprenticeship programmes around Hull.

The Warren Project is an established community youth development project in the heart of Hull. Since 1983, this project has been helping 14 to 25-year-olds develop key life skills. As a contemporary initiative, their team offers a creative, educational, active and mentally supportive space for young people.

The FST team will be working with young people aged 15 to 29 on Achieve, a project geared towards young people who need support in employment, education, apprenticeships and skills-building, participants will work with our team towards skills support and rewarding work opportunities and apprenticeships in sport.

With our extensive knowledge of the sport and activities industry, we’re looking forward to working closely with The Warren Project.
